Where to buy a plot of land in Pune real estate market?

Where to invest in land in Pune?

Maharashtra Times Land Expo 2015

I am not an expert on investing in plots. But I try to keep up to date with plotting schemes. I visit exhibitions & collect information about ongoing plotting projects in Pune real estate market.

I do not enjoy visiting these plotting exhibitions. I hate them. Still, I do visit them, only because many people call me on 919860044110 and ask - Where to invest in land in Pune?

Nowhere! Without wasting a second, I reply.

Nowhere? Then why did you post a blog on the recent plotting exhibition? The caller demands to know.

To get an opportunity to convince you not to invest in a plot of land.
Would you have called me if I hadn't posted that blog? No.

Have I succeeded in persuading people not to invest in plots?

I don't know.

But, nowadays, in these exhibitions, I come across more number of stalls which sell Residential N A Bungalow Plots in Collector Sanctioned Layouts.
And a very few stalls of illegal agricultural lands - proposed N A schemes.

Isn't that good?

For example, have a look at the list of participants in Maharashtra Times Land Expo 2015. I guess, some plotting schemes are worth considering!
Of course, I don't know which ones.
So, please, don't ask me.

And, if you ask, for sure, I will not say - Nowhere!

  1. Most of these land is in extreme remote areas with almost zero infrastructure, which builders sell as in lap of nature, good choice for second home ...blah, blah. Couple of my friends purchased such land and today it has become white elephant as it is not good as permanent residence & going there everytime as second home has also become boring for them. One fellow is trying to sell it for past 8 months but no buyers. Rather than spending lot of money in second home, better to go & stay at different resorts & hotels.

  2. Buying a home in the wild area for lakhs of rupees can only be blocked money with no liquidity. It can give some returns for 20 years but that will be same if you invest that money in FD. FD money at least have tension free nights. This kind of investment will give buyer lot of tension and every time he has to visit same place again and again. Resorts can be better option for 2nd home. If you go towards Lavasa you will see after SUS so much space is open space. Still builders are raising prices in areas like baner and Wakad.
